13 Sep, 2021 CUHK ranked 1st in Hong Kong in the Reuters Asia Pacific's Most Innovative Universities ranking in 2016 -2019 and has filed more than 3300 patents to date, top among local universities. In order to inspire and encourage the CUHK community to continue to innovate for societal impact and showcase our research and innovation achievements, we will organise the 1st ever CUHK Innovation Day on 23 September 2021. The event will be held simultaneously on CUHK campus and online.
Through capitalisation of intellectual property, entrepreneurial activities and the commercialisation of R&I projects, the transfer of knowledge between universities and society helps bring about a socio-economic impact and improvements to the community and businesses.
The day will include:

- Innovation in the areas of satellite technologies, robotics, biomedicine & education
